Genealogy of eight families
This website presents the genealogy of eight families: Levegood/Levergood-Cowles, Esterly-Althouse, Baker-Hainsworth, and Naylor-Perry. Access to the genealogy report is through the "Surname Index" at the top left of these pages. The genealogy report includes basic birth, baptism, marriage, death, burial, and immigration information. In addition to the main lines, we also try to collect and present basic information about (1) the spouses of descendants and the spouses' parents and (2) the children of ancestors and the children's spouses.
On this web site and in the genealogy report, we intend to provide information about only deceased persons. We have also tried to avoid providing information about the parents of living persons, even if deceased. We believe that this provides a balance between protecting the privacy of the living and providing information on our extended family. If you find a mistake that we have made or if you have a concern, please contact us.
An introduction to each of the eight families can be accessed via the navigation bar at the top right of the web pages on this site. There you will find more information about what the focus of our research is for each family as well as direct access to selected individuals in the family.
Leibundgut Family History
For the Levegood/Levergood/Leibenguth/Liebundgut family, we also include information relating to the history of the families having these and similar names, including a summary of earliest ancestors, frequently asked questions, a bibliography of resources, a family bible, contributions from Donald J. Martin, etc. The Leibundgut Family History page includes a more detailed description of what is available; navigation is available via the navigation buttons under "Leibundgut Family History" on the left.
Thank You
Thanks to those who have helped us immensely in our work. We would especially like to thank Tom Levergood, who has helped with scanning and provided tech support. Special thanks are also due to all those folks who have shared information about their families with us and to those who have preceded us in researching this family and thus have greatly facilitated our work; Lynne L. Levegood, Michelle Walsh, Henri Eisenbeis, and Donald J. Martin are due special thanks in this regard.
